Fiona is bound for Erebus and Terror Bay. We should arrive tonight. We will visit the gravesite of Sir John Franklin's first sailors to die on his deadly mission. We will stretch our legs (perhaps while running from a polar bear!). Peel Sound is still closed by ice. So there is no rush to make Resolute, refuel and make a hasty departure. Thus it would be a shame to miss calling on Beechey Island.
It's been another easy day of motoring in splendid weather. The one exception is that no wind means more fuel is burned. This is not a good thing.
